The Knaresborough Ale Trail – More Trail than Ale!
Join us for an evening walk around Knaresborough as we explore the stories behind the town’s pubs, past and present.

This is more trail than ale, offering a chance to discover the hidden histories and curious tales linked to some of Knaresborough’s best-known watering holes.

The walk will be led by Gerry, who regularly runs history tours and has a real passion for sharing the town’s past. You’ll hear all sorts of intriguing details as we make our way through the town centre on well-maintained footpaths.

The trail will take roughly an hour and is £3 per person to cover admin costs, with any additional funds being donated to The Dogs Trust – Gerry’s chosen charity. Sadly, this walk isn’t suitable for dogs, but we hope they can join us on another occasion.

We’ll finish the walk at one of the local pubs, where you’re welcome to join us for a drink afterwards if you’d like – totally optional, of course.
