On a Storyteller’s Night
Because real history leaves behind dates and facts… but it also grows ghost stories, village gossip, and the kind of tales no one can quite remember properly.

Join us for a night of stories – the spooky, the strange, the suspiciously exaggerated, and the sort that only come out after a pint or two. Expect headless horsemen, haunted lanes, old wives’ tales, family legends, and real events with questionable details.

We’ve been digging into local history and found all sorts of curious stories. But we know the best stories don’t always make it into the history books – they get passed down through generations.

So bring a story, or just come and listen. No pressure - just a warm, friendly night where the past comes alive with a laugh and a raised eyebrow. Your stories should be from Harrogate and the surrounding areas.
