New German Cinema: Wenders, Fassbinder, Herzog, Von Trotta, Schlöndorff, Praunheim, Klick.
Last two movies in the New German Cinema Festival. First up the movie with the most amazing title of all time, It Is Not the Homosexual Who Is Perverse, but the Society in Which He Lives, by Rosa von Praunheim, 1971. (In German that is, Nicht der Homosexuelle ist pervers, sondern die Situation, in der er lebt.) The second movie is Supermarkt, by Roland Klick, 1974. It Is Not the Homosexual is only 60 minutes long, so together they'll just be about 150 minutes. I'll write more about them later.
NOTE: We're skipping a week because the previous Friday lands on July 5.
These two movies are very difficult to find—neither is even on ok.ru! But, as always, you can also find a (free) link to them here:

We will meet on Friday, July 12, at 8PM, at BLACK SHEEP PIZZA at 26th Street and Nicollet, same as always. See you there!
