What we’re about
We're a group of designers who build hobby and professional projects. All skill levels and disciplines are welcome, from UI/UX, Graphic, Industrial and more. Many attendees are extremely creative across a variety of fields.
We'll explore multiple meetup formats including:
- Network. Make new friends and potential collaborators. Discuss ideas or the latest trends.
- Cowork. Work on your own project with friends. Bring your laptop, art supplies, or whatever you need, and work on your project. At the end you can share what you did with the others.
- Collaborate. Want to work on a project with with others? The collaborate meetup is for those who want to join a small team and build together.
Most frequently we meet at the coffee shop or bar. Occasionally we'll announce offsites from our sponsors or other meetup groups.
Guiding Principles
Be excellent to each other is the guiding principle of our friends and neighbor Noisebridge, so ours is simply Be Excellent (in everything).

This event is for all genres of designers and work on whatever inspires you. From startup to portfolio to hobby project, it's a great place to work alongside others.
Our members consist of:
- Established designers across a wide array of specialties
- Business professionals transitioning into design
- Students and recent grads just starting out
Note that in years past we used to combine the Artists and Engineers groups as well, but we'll keep them separate for now.
