Data modeling best practices for Cosmos DB
Azure Cosmos DB is Microsoft’s proprietary globally-distributed, multi-model database service "for managing data at planet-scale“
Using Cosmos DB, you can build highly responsive, planet scale applications with guaranteed less than 10-ms latencies for both, reads (indexed) and writes at the 99th percentile, all around the world.
But in order to achieve that level of performance your data has to follow some basic rules so data modeling is a very important exercise when designing a solution on top of Cosmos DB
In this session we will go over some best practices and patterns for Data Modeling when using Cosmos DB SQL (or Gremlin) APIs
