What we’re about

Our Meetups are desinged to get you into the studio and practicing portraiture!

Each of our Meetups will feature an experienced guest model sitting for us, and a maximum of four photographers (including the host). This ensures a comfortable, unhurried, fun event in which each photographer will be allocated ample time to work 1:1 with our guest model (if you need any help or would like some guidance, that's completely fine, too--I will be on set and am happy to assist you and answer any of your questions during your shooting time).

Who are our members?

Our members include professional photographers, amateur photographers of all experience levels, and those who would like to learn. We are united by a love of photography, and are an inclusive, positive group--everyone is welcome.

Where do we meet?

Our Meetups take place in well-equipped photography studios in Mississauga and the immediate surrounding area.

How much shooting time will I get?

Remember, your time is your time; we do not do so-called "paparazzi"-shoots! You will be working 1:1 with the model to create, compose, and capture your images!

The exact numbers will depend on the length of the session and the number of attendees, but to provide a general guideline, this is what the schedule for a 90-minute event with 4 photographers will look something like this:

  1. Arrival/introduction/member setup time: 10 minutes

  2. Look 1/3

    1. Photographer 1: 5 minutes
    2. Photographer 2: 5 minutes
    3. Photographer 3: 5 minutes
    4. Photographer 4: 5 minutes
    5. Wardrobe change: 5 minutes
  3. Look 2/3

    1. Photographer 1: 5 minutes
    2. Photographer 2: 5 minutes
    3. Photographer 3: 5 minutes
    4. Photographer 4: 5 minutes
    5. Wardrobe change: 5 minutes
  4. Look 3/3

    1. Photographer 1: 5 minutes
    2. Photographer 2: 5 minutes
    3. Photographer 3: 5 minutes
    4. Photographer 4: 5 minutes
  5. Wrap-up: 10 minutes

Out of fairness to all members, including those who may be registered for an adjacent session, a timer will be used to ensure that everyone receives their allocated time.
