The Southern Highlands Pickleball group is now established for players of all skill levels with four other sessions each week that provide basic training for beginners.
This session caters to experienced players who typically understand the basic rules of the game and have played a minimum of three sessions of Pickleball. Players must understand the rules concerning the serve, the two-bounce rule, when to play in the non-volley zone and how to keep the score.
For this session we try to have players being challenged by more experienced players but also players at a similar level playing together. Players for this session must be 18 or over and ideally all players should have their own Pickleball paddle.

The rules for pickleball are simple which adds to its enjoyment. It can also be quite a challenging, fast-paced, and competitive game as you gain more experience. Pickleball is especially suited to more senior community members from forty to eighty years of age but is suitable for all ages.
