Graffiti Alley: The intersection of graffiti and traditional art raises fundamental questions about the nature of creativity, the role of public space, and the dynamics of cultural authority. Graffiti, often relegated to the fringes of artistic discourse, challenges entrenched norms and offers a compelling critique of the structures that define what is considered art.

What is a Janes Walk: Jane’s Walk is an annual festival of free, community-led walking conversations inspired by Jane Jacobs—a journalist, author, theorist, activist, and proud Torontonian.

On the first weekend of May every year, Jane’s Walk festivals take place in hundreds of cities around the world. Jane’s Walks encourage people to share stories about their neighbourhoods, discover unseen aspects of their communities, and use walking as a way to connect with their neighbours.

The Jane's Walk festival is largely volunteer-run and donor-funded. Since the festival's launch in 2007, Jane's Walks have been held in nearly 500 cities across 6 continents.

Meetup Location: We will meet at 585 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M5V outside the Loblaws (Queen street West and Portland) and I will be wearing my Moose Hat.

PLEASE NOTE: Please come and say "hi" to me as that way I know who you are and I can tell you who else is in the group.

Meetup Time: 12:30pm....They will only wait 10mins and this is not my event so I have to leave.

End Spot: Queen and Spadina.

Meetup Fee: There is no fee for this event.
