Welcome to the MNeurodivergent Bemidji Community!

We’re so glad you found us. This group is part of MNeurodivergent, a Minnesota-based nonprofit creating welcoming, affirming, and accessible spaces where neurodivergent adults can connect, socialize, and build community—without pressure to mask, perform, or “fit in.”

Our Bemidji community is just getting started, and we’re excited to offer a space in Northern Minnesota for neurodivergent adults to meet others who understand their experiences, share support, and feel truly accepted. Whether you're in Bemidji, Blackduck, Cass Lake, or nearby, you are welcome here.

This group is for adults who are autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, Tourettic, OCD, or otherwise neurodivergent. It also includes people with sensory processing differences, learning disabilities, cognitive variations, and those who experience neurodivergence related to mental health. Whether you’re formally diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or still exploring your identity, you belong.

Our events are casual, low-pressure, and neurodivergent-friendly. There’s no expectation to make small talk, socialize a certain way, or “keep up.” You can bring headphones, stim toys, take breaks, or just observe. You’re welcome to engage in the ways that feel most comfortable to you.

Activities may include relaxed meetups, game nights, quiet hangs, nature-based gatherings, or creative events. All events follow MNeurodivergent’s Code of Conduct, focused on inclusion, consent, and mutual respect.

Our organizers are neurodivergent volunteers who understand diverse needs and are here to help. If you have access needs or questions, feel free to reach out.

Whether you come often or just once, you’re part of the community. We’re so glad you’re here.
