🕗 EVENT AGENDA
18:30 — Introduction & Welcome
Welcome to Mobile Warsaw #106 and our special birthday celebration! Community announcements, and a brief overview of tonight's talks and networking opportunities.
18:40 — iOS Engineer Codes Android - An AI Experiment on Role Boundaries
Vitalii Kizlov [sponsored talk]
Vitalii Kizlov is a Senior iOS, macOS, and tvOS Engineer specializing in scalable, user-centric applications across Apple platforms. He has led the development of impactful features such as HealthKit integrations, media systems, and modular SwiftUI architectures, while driving cross-functional collaboration and mentoring teams.
What happens when an experienced iOS engineer starts working on real Android production tasks with an AI-first approach? This is not a classic "switching stacks" story. It's a practical experiment in reducing friction between platforms and testing how far AI can stretch the boundaries of engineering roles. Vitalii will discuss what felt surprisingly natural, what stayed stubbornly platform-specific, where AI genuinely helped, and where it created false confidence. Expect honest lessons, real production context, and a fresh perspective on what cross-platform engineering might look like in an AI-first world.
19:20 — Break & Networking
🍕 Pizza, drinks, and appetizers will be served. Join us for birthday cake and celebrate Mobile Warsaw with the community! Participate in games and compete for prizes while you network with fellow developers and speakers.
19:45 — Building Sport Technology as a Non-Technical Founder. Notes, History and Lessons Learned by Filip Droszcz
Filip is the founder of KINE, a sports tech startup building precision performance measurement tools for coaches and athletes. With 8+ years of hands-on coaching experience and currently pursuing an MSc in Strength & Conditioning at St Mary's University London, he bridges the gap between lab-grade science and real-world training. He works with athletes across disciplines, specializing in performance, longevity, and motor development.
What does it take to build precision sports hardware and a cross-platform app when you're a coach, not a developer? Filip shares the unfiltered story of building KINE—from a training studio whiteboard to custom force plates, embedded IMU sensors, and a Flutter-based cross-platform app—without a technical background. This is a talk about leverage: how AI and LLMs changed what a solo domain expert can actually ship, where they fall short, and what no amount of prompting can replace. Expect honest lessons, real mistakes, and a system that actually works.
20:30 — Apple-focused career outside of the dev bubble
Miłosz Staszewski
Miłosz has been using Macs since 2005, originally fascinated by the unique combination of UNIX underpinnings and state-of-the-art desktop software. He has delivered many training sessions sharing his affection for the Apple platform. When not in a classroom, Miłosz is probably listening to or recording a podcast. Recently, as co-author of Faktura—Poland's most popular native invoicing app for the Mac—Miłosz is navigating the challenges of the National System of e-Invoices (KSeF).
The jury is still out on whether we are going through developer-apocalypse or software renaissance. Can one really flourish right now on the dev market—or should we all start looking for a totally new kind of career? During this talk, Miłosz will outline at least three ways in which a tech-savvy person can turn the tide and jump into the exploding new world of opportunities around Apple deployment. Expect practical insights, honest perspectives, and a fresh take on what's possible beyond traditional development roles.
21:00 — Closing & Birthday Celebration
