Keynote: Polymer in 2016

Speaker: Rob Dodson, Chrome Developer Advocate for Polymer, Polymer Team Member, @rob_dodson (http://twitter.com/rob_dodson)

Details:
The past few years have been a bumpy ride for developers excited by Web Components. But we’re finally reaching a point where all of the browsers agree upon, and are implementing, Web Component standards.

Similarly, the Polymer project has gone through many iterations to get where it is today and looking forward we want to focus on giving developers the most polished, on-rails experience we possibly can.

So what does that look like? In this talk we’ll cover the future of Polymer tools, where we see the ecosystem heading, and our roadmap of features for 2016 and beyond!

Lightning Talk #1 - Dependency Injection in Polymer
Speaker: Justin Fagniani, Polymer Team Engineer, @justinfagnani (http://twitter.com/justinfagnani)

I'm going to talk about traditional dependency injection, why it doesn't work with custom elements, and how we can replace it with something even better.

Lightning Talk #2 - Modular Routing

Speaker: Peter Burns, Polymer Team Engineer, @rictic (http://twitter.com/rictic)

What would idiomatic, modular routing look like? Is it possible to do routing with composable, reusable elements? Come find out!

Lightning Talk #3
Speaker: Arthur Evans, Chrome & Polymer Tech Writer, @DevDocDude (http://twitter.com/DevDocDude)

Lightning Talk #4 - Vaadin Elements

Speaker: Marcus Hellberg, Developer Advocate, Vaadin, @MarcusHellberg (http://twitter.com/MarcusHellberg)

This talk will cover the open source Vaadin Elements that extend the Polymer Element set with more complex components like data tables, filterable selects, date pickers etc. Get a quick idea our of what the Vaadin elements have to offer as well as a quick start to download and add them to your own projects.
