Modesto Tango

Unfortunately, because so few people come to our classes we are no longer able to host classes in Modesto at this time. This is a letter from our instructor: Hi Mary, I’m saying this with a very heavy heart, but I believe we have to acknowledge that our teaching in Modesto has reached a natural end. Our numbers have become so small that even with our agreed minimum, we’re unable to meet our true goal of spreading our tango influence to a wider audience with our teaching efforts. It’s been a great run and I appreciate the opportunity to work together with our group in Modesto, but starting this summer we’ll be moving our operations to Tango by the River in Sacramento. We would like to continue to work with you all in Modesto through the end of June, giving us 3 months to conclude our tenure. We’ll be working the same schedule in Sacramento, but we’ll be doing it on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays instead of 2nd and 4th. Thanks again for everything, Mary. Over the 12+ years I’ve worked with you all, my teaching and dancing has improved tremendously. I’m hoping we can go out on a high note.
