Reviving MHB for 2020! Hey MHB, this group has been dormant for almost a year and it was just released by its prior organizer. Rather than see the nearly 600 member group vanish, I wanted to see if we could resurrect this thing and get this group active again! A bit about me, your new organizer. My name's Brian Hill, and I've been an avid hiker and backpacker my entire life. I'm a Valley native, am an occasional Spartan racer, and I've been a Scoutmaster in a local scout troop for years (which means I'm experienced in teaching outdoor skills to newcomers AND that I have plenty of practice organizing and planning wilderness hikes). I believe that hikes should inspire and challenge you and that we can find trails to accommodate all skill and experience levels. My personal hiking plans for the coming year include summiting Mount Whitney and beginning a section hike of the PCT.
