Please join us as Microsoft Technical Evangelist G. Andrew Duthie provides an overview of the tools and processes for developing apps and games for the Windows Store, which will help you prepare for the Windows $10K App Contest. Andrew will discuss the tools for developing native apps, as well as third-party tools that can help you develop apps and games that can work cross-platform as well. Andrew will also share resources for getting started quickly, including a set of starter kits created by Andrew and his teammates, and show you where to find additional information, including case studies on porting your apps.

This workshop will also help you get your app in shape to submit to the Modev Windows $10k App Contest, with a shot at a $10,000 cash prize pool.
