What we’re about

Monaghan Toastmasters helps members to build confidence, learn leadership skills, improve presentation skills, public speaking skills and hone the many other communication skills that will help you to achieve your goals. The first step to becoming a Monaghan Toastmasters Club member is to join us for a meeting as a guest - we look forward to meeting you.

Speaking projects follow the Toastmasters Pathways education program.

There are 11 paths each consisting of 15 projects, each one building on the previous. Members who have completed a path experience a significant improvement in their confidence and clarity in speaking. The ability to deliver a speech with purpose is a key learning. Toastmaster's meetings take place at 8:30pm every 1st & 3rd Tuesday per month. The duration of the meeting is about 90 minutes during which time we typically have 2 speakers followed by Table Topics and Evaluations.

The meeting starts at 8:30pm sharp so try to join the call or arrive before then.
