If you want to have practical AI Agents that can take actions with real application data, this event is for you. There are 2 parts to this event that may be of interest to you.

This is a hands-on lab - please bring your laptop.

Part 1:
- The event begins by grounding you in what an AI agent actually is: an LLM-powered system that can call tools, make decisions, and carry out tasks on your behalf. You will explore practical use cases across industries—from virtual assistants and customer support to analytics and personalized experiences—so you can understand when AI Agents are the right fit for your applications and how they differ from traditional automation.
- Learn the foundational concepts of AI agents, such as reasoning, memory, tools, etc.
- Understand what AI Agents are, how they work with large language models, and when to use them in real-world applications.
- Learn when to use cases for AI agents, different types of agent architectures, etc.
- Explore industry use cases for AI Agents, from customer service to analytics
- Understand how tools are called by agents

Part 2:
- You are guided to set up a working environment for building AI Agents.
- Using concrete examples, such as answering “What’s the status of my order?” or analyzing trends across thousands of documents.
- Create a multi-tool AI Agent
- Build a MongoDB learning agent using MongoDB and LangGraph.
- Add memory to the AI agent, including strategies for storing and retrieving past interactions.

Practical applications of Part 2:
- Have a vector store and memory provider for agentic applications using MongoDB
- Build production-grade agentic applications using MongoDB
- Build controllable, reliable agentic workflows using LangGraph
