Monsoon Medicine Society by Panacea Herbal

Herbal walks, medicine making, and plant wisdom for the wild hearts of the Sonoran Desert.

The Monsoon Medicine Society is a gathering place for anyone curious about the plants around them. Whether you've never made a cup of herbal tea or you've been crafting tinctures for years, there's a place for you here.

What we get into:
Plant walks: meet the medicinal plants of the Sonoran Desert in their natural habitat, and learn to identify them, respect them, and understand their stories

Medicine making: teas, tinctures, salves, syrups, fire ciders, infused oils, and more, and you'll go home with what you make!

Desert Medicinals: creosote, prickly pear, mesquite, desert willow, and the other tough, brilliant plants that thrive where little else can.

Cultivation: grow your own medicine, even in the Arizona heat

Clinical skills: deeper learning for growing herbalists who want to support friends, family, and community

Herbal education: plant chemistry, folklore, history, and all things awesomely herbal.

Who we are:
We're local herbalists, healers, gardeners, foragers, cooks and plant enthusiasts who wish to give a voice to the plants! With many years of experience in the world of plants both teaching and practicing we have definitely got stories to share!

Curious beginners or seasoned plant people. Everyone is welcome. We believe plant wisdom belongs to the people, and we learn best together.

How we roll:
We harvest with respect, honor our mentors, teachers, cultures and traditions that carry and pass this sacred knowledge to us. We care for the land that cares for us. Expect community, laughter, hands-on learning, delicious tea, and probably a few new friends, (human or plant!)

Your guide:
Hosted by Shannon Stapleton, a community herbalist, educator, and storyteller with over 15 years of studying plant medicine and a deep love for the desert and its green relatives.
