What we're about
We are a motorcycle riding group for all riders and all brand of bikes. Most rides will be between 100 to 300 miles and may include an activity such as lunch, see an attraction, a hike or a combination of things. We’re riding to have fun and the only rule for riding with us is that you wear a DOT approved helmet. We ride responsibly and safely so if you're into wheelies and showing off this probably isn't the group for you. \
One of the great things about meeting and riding with new people is that you get to learn new roads and places that they know. That's why we also ask our members to try to lead a ride once a year. To schedule leading a ride please contact the site organizers Alan, Carl or Joe with your plan and we'll get it on the schedule. \
Upcoming events (1)
This will be 2 1/2 days of riding on the unbelievable roads of the Susquehannock State Forest with stops at the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon and Kinzua Bridge. Plus stargazing at one of the best places to do so on the East Coast, Cherry Springs State Park Astronomy Observation Field.
We’ll be staying at the Laurelwood Inn in Coudersport. Rooms run from $79.50 to $106.00 per night including tax. To reserve call[masked] and ask for Mark or Chris and mention Montco Riders. THE ROOM IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! So I recommend booking early. They take your cc just for a hold, they don’t charge until you stay. Cancellation policy is 48 hours before. Rain dates will be June 9, 10, 11. It’s up to you if you want to book that as well just in case.
Schedule will be Friday the 12th afternoon/evening arrive. Sat & Sun the 13th & 14th ride/fun. Monday the 15th ride in the morning then head back in the afternoon.
