Free entry for SVCC members and K-12 students, $10 for all others.

Player registration 9:15-10am
3 rounds: 10:30, 1:00, 3:30
No eliminations -- everyone plays all 3 rounds.
Half-point bye(s) may be arranged at registration or requested at least 20 minutes before scheduled round.
3 sections: USCF-rated Championship and Challengers, and non-rated Candidates
**Entrants to rated sections must be current members of USCF -- join or renew at uschess.org**
Swiss-system pairings. Accelerated Swiss-system pairings if more than 8 players in section.
Championship section is limited to the top entrants (including qualifiers from March 8 Challengers section).
Games timed with 30 minutes per player, plus 30s increment added with each move. (G/30;+30)
Chess sets and clocks are provided.
Players must record all moves of their games on provided scoresheets or in their own scorebook.
Trophy to 1st place winners of Championship and Challengers sections. Blitz playoff match in the event of a tie. Winners of Challengers section eligible to compete in May Championship section. Winners of Candidates section must play in rated sections in subsequent tournaments. Gold medal to 1st place winners of Candidates section. Silver and Bronze medals to runners-up in each section and to all K thru 8 students.
