Sunset Club Gathering at Asilomar State Beach

The weather for Monday (67) and Tuesday (70) is exceptionally warm, so let's gather for a sunset! Join us Tuesday evening at Asilomar Hotel & Conference Grounds between 6:30 - 6:55 PM (outside the main lobby and Phoebe's Cafe where the wood chairs are), and then we'll walk the path to Asilomar State Beach at 6:55 PM for the 7:25 PM sunset.

If you can't arrive until 7 PM, just meet us at the beach where Sunset Blvd. turns north along the coast - it's a 3 minute walk from the restaurant FishWife at 1996 Sunset Drive, Pacific Grove. Parking can be found at Asilomar Conference Center/Hotel or along Sunset Drive between Fishwife and the coast.

Bring a friend, bring a refreshment, and enjoy meeting other sunset admirers. The sunset is at 7:25 PM. We'll meet from 6:30 - 8ish, and likely go to the Monarch Pub & Restaurant in Pacific Grove after the sunset.

At 7 PM, we will be on the beach, just down the path (or steps) from Sunset Drive. Look for a group of people enjoying the sunset at the most northwestern part of the beach (near the rocks).

Consider bringing refreshments or snacks to share. Also, Phoebe's Cafe sells some food, beer, and wine.

Be sure to join the Facebook group (Monterey Peninsula Sunset Club) so that you can post sunset photos and enjoy other people's photos of the amazing sunsets in the area. Low tide is at 3 PM and high tide is at 9:30 PM.

It will be chilly by sunset, so dress appropriately.
