Asilomar Hotel Live Music, BBQ, & Asilomar Beach Sunset

Join us this Friday night for live music, drinks, food, and a short walk to Asilomar Beach for a sunset. Live music ("Sunset Music Series") starts at 6 PM on the patio area on the west side of the main lodge (outside the main lodge and Phoebe's Cafe) and goes until 9 PM. Hanging out to enjoy the music and view is free. If you want to eat, the hotel sells BBQ food. You can also bring some food and beverages. There's a wine table that hands out (free) small samples of a central coast winery, and you can also buy wine, beer, and other beverages at Phoebe's Cafe.

We will gather there around 7 PM, hang out and enjoy the music and conversations, walk to Asilomar Beach around 8 PM for the 8:15 PM sunset, and return to the Hotel & Conference Grounds around 8:40 PM to enjoy more music, which ends at 9 PM.

The music series ends at the end of August, so let's enjoy the expected warm weather (should be 68-70 degrees on Friday) and hopefully we'll see a good sunset.

Park anywhere on the 107 acre site. Look for us on the patio outside of Phoebe's Cafe. Don't be shy... just come on up and ask if we're part of the Sunset Club. There won't be any flags or signs to easily identify us - just look around for a group of people and ask if we're with the Sunset Club. If there's a lot of attendees, we may be spread out since there are only about 30-40 chairs on the concrete patio, but we will hopefully find an area with chairs and tables at the top of the patio.

If you can't join us until the sunset, join us on the beach. We will gather at Asilomar Beach at 8 PM, about 100-200 feet from the northern most part of the beach near the rocks and steps (close to Sunset Drive). We will be there around 8:00 PM until 8:30.

Even if it's cloudy, we will still meet up and enjoy the music, BBQ, and walk to the beach.
