SF Game Dev feat Discord: Enhancing the Player Experience

Details
Welcome back everyone to SF's most popular game development group. We are excited to be partnering this month with Discord. Additionally, thanks to Microsoft for hosting us in their Reactor space. We have some excellent talks happening at this event that you won't want to miss.
Discord allows gamers from around the world to build real-life relationships with other gamers on servers, setup voice calls and chat in real-time. For indies, Discord can be a powerful tool to market your game to a wide audience. As an indie, how do we make that connectivity into something meaningful?
The dynamic nature of online gaming presents many unique challenges for game developers today. However, this also opens up a whole new world of possible ways to take advantage of that connectedness to dramatically improve the player experience of your game.
How can you make it easier for your players to connect and play your game with their friends? How can you encourage them to keep playing with each other? Emily Rose, Senior Solutions Engineer at Discord, is going to show you how you can keep players engaged with your title through Discord and the Discord API. Make sure to RSVP ASAP, spots are limited and this event will fill up fast.
