What we’re about
We are an inclusive support group for all adult members of the Montreal LGBTQ+ community. Due to the current rules on social-distancing, our meetings have moved online (through Zoom). Once our in-person activities resume, we will be offering free food and non-alcoholic beverages during our meetings.
Each, two hour, meeting is a safe space where we talk about LGBTQ+ related topics like coming out, sexual orientation, gender expression, stereotypes, relationships, and so much more. The group discussions are confidential, respectful and judgment-free. This makes it easy to build new friendships as well as a sense of belonging within our community. We encourage you to join the conversation and share personal experiences, ask questions, learn from others, and maybe even discover new parts of yourself.
Our meeting facilitator is a member of the LGBTQ+ community with a degree in psychology. She is always happy to share resources and helpful information when needed.
Whether you are newly out, have been out for a long time, or not out at all, our diverse group makes it easy for you to feel comfortable and safe to share and learn. Participation is not mandatory, please join us even if you prefer not to share just yet.
Meetings are led in English however, french speakers are welcome.
Les réunions se déroulent en anglais cependant, les francophones sont les bienvenus.
