Montreal Singles Wine and Paint Evenings puts a glass of wine in one hand and a paintbrush in the other and lets single people meet each other while making something slightly ridiculous. Each session has a simple guided painting nobody is expected to master, and the fun is at least half in comparing disasters with the people beside you. Between the brushwork, the wine, and the gallery walk of finished canvases at the end, conversation never has to be forced.

Absolutely no artistic ability is required and the worst painting of the night is traditionally the most celebrated. Sessions run in English with plenty of French flying around the tables, as it should in this city. The group welcomes singles of all ages, and arriving solo is the standard entrance.
