Moonlight Poetry Society

Hello Poetry Lovers! Moonlight Poetry Society is an intimate collective where poetry is the starting point for connection, creation, and community. A healing collective disguised as a poetry club.

We gather twice a month — at public poetry events in NYC to share words, stories, and the lessons behind them. More than performance, we honor the origins of each poem, the shadows that shaped it, and the light it brings. Our mission is to create a home for voices to be heard, for silence to be broken, and for people to remember they are never alone under the moonlight.

🌙 Safety & Community Guidelines
Moonlight Poetry Society is a space for connection, creativity, and respect. To keep our gatherings safe and joyful for everyone:

• All attendees are expected to treat each other with respect and kindness. Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
• Our events are currently held in public spaces, and participation is voluntary. Attendees are responsible for their own personal safety.
• For private or RSVP-only events in the future, guidelines will be shared in advance to ensure a comfortable and secure environment for everyone.
• Trust your instincts, ask questions, and feel free to reach out to the host (Michelle) with any concerns before or during the event.
