Tomorrow night I’m heading to my all-time favorite open mic at Otto’s Shrunken Head — a downtown staple filled with live music, bold sound, and real, unfiltered expression.
This is mostly a music open mic — guitars, bands, voices filling the room — and I’m usually one of the few who brings poetry (and sometimes a little singing into the mix). And honestly? That’s what makes it so special. Poetry is celebrated and welcomed at Otto's.
