Tale of Us pizza is a husband and wife team who believe pizza is more than food — it’s an experience. What began as a shared love for authentic flavors and quality ingredients has grown into a way for us to connect with people through something simple yet meaningful: a really good slice.
Based in Portland, Tale of Us is a pizza project rooted in slow fermentation and Sicilian tradition. Each pizza reflects our commitment to patience, precision and honest ingredients — a craft that honors time, texture and taste.
Every pie we make tells a story — from the dough we handcraft to the moments we share with our community. For us, it’s about more than serving food; it’s about creating memories, one pizza at a time.
"I grew up around cooking and spent a lot of time with my grandmother, who cooked constantly, especially for big family gatherings on weekends. She’d make Sicilian style pizza at home, and I think without realizing it at the time, that became part of the foundation for everything I’m doing now.” - says the husband Darren
