We have been seeing no shows at every event this year. To combat this, I am putting a $5 deposit requirement on those who are new to my events.

Regular attendees - there is no deposit for you, but please honour your RSVP or update before the deadline.

Spots are still first come first served. We will see how this goes for a bit before having to move back to a deposit for everyone. Thanks for understanding

Please note that cancellations within 30 hours or no shows will risk being removed from this group (or revert to paying a deposit). Those on waitlist are expected to attend if they get bumped in before 12:00 PM noon on Wednesday April 29, 2026.

PROCESS FOR ATTENDING
Step 1:
RSVP for event.
Step 2:
* if you are a regular (e.g. if you have met and can name my partner), simply RSVP - no further action.
* if you are new-ish to my events (if you are not sure, send me a message), please send a $5 refundable deposit to **[deposit4myspot@gmail.com](mailto:deposit4myspot@gmail.com)** with password "club" - send deposit within 2 hours of RSVP or risk being moved to the waitlist.
Step 3:
I will not deposit your e-transfer unless you are on the going list.
Step 4:
If you cancel before noon on Wednesday April 29, 2026, your deposit will be refunded. Make sure to message Jessica with email address to return deposit to.
Step 5:
If you cancel after 12:00 PM noon on Wednesday April 29, 2026, or do not show up to the event, your deposit will be used to help cover the cost of the Meetup site subscription.
Step 6:
You will receive your deposit back at the event.
Once full, those remaining on the waitlist will be given opportunity if anyone drops out. Watch your inbox!
