About us

Drives, walks, hikes and tours in the neighborhoods and in the beautiful parks of San Francisco and the glorious environs of Mount Tamalpais and all along the Coast, as well as wonderful Berkeley and the Eastbay. The architecture is fantastic here and we'll see a lot of it and learn some local history too.

In this fast paced world our being needs to slow back to nature's pace. Regain, reset our equilibrium, feel in-touch, in the moment and better all around.
I believe self-help is the most sustainable way to grow and overcome difficulties, problems, depression and anxiety. Join on this journey and bring your 911 along.

My experience over the last 31 years has been in leading walking, touring and hiking groups. First as a Calif. State Park volunteer, then starting my own Meetup groups in 2013. And in a lifetime of experience in maintaining my own balance, equilibrium and mental health in a challenging world. My journey has included deep dives into cognitive behavior therapy, counseling and life experience as a working person, good friend and mentor. Aided by the joy and excitement of driving, especially the iconic Porsche 911.

Come out and get to know who and what is out there.
Welcome, your host,
Jordan Herrmann

Porsche 911 Owner's Event- Along the Coast and, Up & Down Mt.Tamalpais

Porsche 911 Owner's Event- Along the Coast and, Up & Down Mt.Tamalpais

Steep Ravine, Rocky Point Road, Stinson Beach, CA, US

The weather is perfect for this event, lots of wildflowers will be in bloom, a combination of scenic driving, winding Coast and mountain roads with a great springtime hike thrown in for good measure. Bring your hiking boots as we will just do the downhill leg of the Steep Ravine Trail through the Redwoods and on to the Steep Ravine cabins and the trails down along the coast. It's a mostly downhill hike of four miles with about a 350' elev. gain as we climb up from the Bluffs to the PCH at the end. Parking will be either in the lot just off the PCH near the Steep Ravine Cabins road entrance or up at the Pantoll Ranger Station as we shuttle cars to make for the one way route of this hike.

Here's a slide-show video of a Mt.
Tam drive and hike on Mar.15th.

The Itinerary is this:
7:45am, Meet at the Good Earth Natural Foods off Shoreline Hwy. in Tam Junction, Mill Valley.
8:15am Start driving, your choice, take either the PCH or Panoramic Hwy. to Steep Ravine Cabins.
9:00am Meet at the entrance to Steep Ravine Cabins
Sort out the car shuttling, and choose parking either along the PCH or at Pantoll Ranger Station.
(My Walking, Hiking and Touring only group will be meeting us at Steep Ravine Cabins. They won't mind leaving their cars along the PCH. Safe parking for Porsches at the Pantoll Ranger Station after ferrying some other participants up there.)
