Over the years I've found a handful of zakka and interior shops in Jiyugaoka that genuinely have soul. This event is a chance to walk that route together — four pockets of the neighborhood, a couple of photo spots, and a tea house to wind down in.
Shopping is the prompt; good conversation is the point.

🛍️ Themed route — only zakka and interior shops (kitchen tools, decor, stationery, gifts), covering all the major areas of Jiyugaoka. No apparel, no furniture.
✨ Personally curated — every shop is one I've shopped at or personally visited. No luxury, just good taste at fair prices.
🍰 Best street for coffee, sweets, cakes and donuts, come hungry!
📸 2-3 photo spots most people walk past without noticing.
🍵 An artist-owned traditional tea house for chat and connection.
🗣 English-friendly — host language is English, most participants also speak Japanese.

🚉 1:00 — Meet at Jiyugaoka Station, officially Kick-off the event!!
🛍️ 1:10 — West side: 2 shops + photo spot
🍰 1:50 — North side: 2 shops + sweets break
🍩 2:25 — East side: 1 shop + optional donuts
📸 3:05 — South side: photo spot + 3 shops
🍵 4:00 — Go to a traditianal Japanese Tearoom <古桑庵> http://kosoan.co.jp/
🌿 4:45 — End (leave earlier if you need to)
Total walking: Aprox. 3–4 km, flat. 10–25 min per shop, depending on size and interest.

💴 Free for Repeater; ¥500 cash for first-timers — covers Meetup costs.
All other events in the same month are free.
Cafe, tea house, and shopping paid separately.
🛒 I will reveal the shop list on the day. To give you a sense: [The shops cover Japanese and Western style homeware, ceramics, stationery, kitchen tools, nice gifts, snacks, condiments and ingredients and etc.
Most shops have better design and unique selection and slightly more expensive comparing to MUJI or Keyuca.
However, I included a Bargain shop with good daily design and cozy style.].

✔ Come a bit hungry — there are a lot of sweets and light food shops

・Most of the time, we move together — if you leave early, let me know.
・Many zakka shops don't allow interior photos. Please ask before snapping inside.
・Window-shopping is fine. Zero pressure to buy.
・Tea house is optional but where the real conversation happens.
