Motomachi English Circle – High-Level Discussions

Humans have told stories since the beginning of time. The host (David) believes that, especially in an age of constant information overload and more and more online connection, face-to-face storytelling is meaningful and powerful – for business and life.

Join us to express yourself and connect with global-minded people. You will be inspired by real stories with real people – in person.

You can tell a story or just listen to other people share their stories. Each person will have a chance to tell one story, followed by time for listeners to share their reaction and reflections.

Stories should be under five minutes and can be on any theme. However, personal stories are recommended. Themes might include a challenge you've overcome, an adventure you've experienced, a lesson you've learned or a funny, everyday moment that you want to share. Dramatic, funny, sad, inspiring, strange – all are welcome.

Your storytelling doesn't need to be perfect, but please practice it before the event.

Falling in love is easy, but keeping a relationship happy, healthy and passionate takes work. More specifically, it requires self-awareness, good communication and a desire to learn and grow.

At this event, David & Chami Nagai (married ten years) will give a short presentation (15 min.) followed by Q&A and group discussion. They will share from their personal experience and connect ideas from communication and psychology.

You will come away with mindsets, tools and motivation to keep growing and showing your love to your partner (or future partner) through the way you think, act and communicate.

David & Chami don't have all the answers or a perfect marriage. But... they have plenty of experiences, ideas and questions that will encourage you on your quest for lasting and fulfilling love.

This event is open to anyone regardless of romantic relationship status.
