Motomachi English Circle is a small discussion group for people who want to use English to exchange ideas, perspectives, and experiences — entirely in English.
Discussions are high-level, collaborative, and guided by David Nagai.
We explore ideas, culture, creativity, and different ways of seeing the world.
This is a relaxed, respectful space where curiosity matters more than “correct” English.
This group is for you if you want to:

Raising Global Kids in Japan – Discussion
Bridge Beyond English, 511 Wistaria Motomachi 4-179 Motomachi Naka-ku, Yokohama, al, JPRaising global kids in Japan? There are many strategies and opportunities – as well as complex challenges and uncertainties.
At this event, parents and non-parents will discuss their experiences, questions, and ideas for how best to help kids develop into global citizens.
We will discuss education, technology, creativity, cultural values, language, identity – and of course, how it all connects to parenting.
As we share together, hopefully all participants will gain new insights that can help empower kids and parents for a global future.
The host (David Nagai) is an American who was born and raised in Taiwan where he attended English international school. He has lived in six countries and currently has a four-year-old son with his global Japanese wife.
Although the discussion will all be in English, any level of English is welcome.We are an inclusive community that welcomes people of all backgrounds, races, nationalities and sexual orientations.
