We’ll be parking in a new neighborhood, so let’s be on our very best behavior - no hooting and hollering until we’re in the woods, where we’ll circle up. The route stays in the hills on the “Davis” trail, the “Daniels Singletrack” trail and the “Switchplate” trail, then returns by the water on the “Old Main Line” trail. The total distance is about 7 miles, the total elevation gain is about 1000 ft, and the pace will be around 2.2 mph. Let’s look for a place to stop for lunch in the woods.
To avoid blocking driveways and mailboxes, it’s likely that most hikers will need to park on Ballard Way or Jessica Lane. Remember, no tomfoolery.
Be prepared for rocky and rooty trails with mud. Sturdy waterproof hiking boots are HIGHLY recommended. By registering for this hike, you agree to the following waiver of liability:
