With the freezing temperatures we have been seeing, the Cascade Falls may be worth a visit. Unlike other hikes, this one has not been scouted and I am uncertain of the conditions. Keep that in mind when you are deciding if you want to join this hike. Starting from Avalon, we will hike the Ridge Trail over to Cascade Falls - then make our way back by way of the Morning Choice Trail. I may change our return trip path, so stay flexible.

Expect 6.5 miles with 800 feet of elevation gain. You are going to need traction, so bring micro-spikes. Poles will also be helpful. This hike may take us longer than expected - allow extra time. Bring food, we will eat along the trail.
