Woodstock loop
Details
This hike will take us on a 6 to 7 mile clockwise loop in the Woodstock area. We will leave from the St. Alphonsus parking area and make our way to Joe’s Trail to start the loop. On the second leg, we will hike north along the riverside for a couple miles. Bring lunch or a snack, we will find a spot to eat somewhere along the trail - maybe at the quarry. Expect a pace of 2 - 2.5 mph with 500 feet of elevation gain, there are only minor stream crossings. As for trail conditions, between now and then we are forecasted to have snow, a day in the 50s, then a day of rain - be prepared for a wet, muddy trail.
