Appalachian Trail - native vegetation enclosures

This project is to install new metal fencing to protect native plants from deer in a native plant research project along the AT. We will also be doing weed pulling and selective herbicide application.

This will be mostly moderate labor combined with a lot of walking.

Bring work gloves, suitable clothing and footwear for work, water, snacks, lunch, bug repellent. Other tools will be supplied as needed.

You can leave early if you like. The end time isn't carved in stone.

The parking lot has limited space so that limits the crew size. If you use Google Maps, just enter Hunters Run Appalachian Trail parking for the location.
