Hindi Poetry Open Mic — Mehfil!

This will be our 8th meeting of the Bay area Hindi Urdu poetry open Mic Mehfil.

Chaliye, shuru karte hain.
This is it, another evening for poetic minds to connect and celebrate poetery - Hindi Poetry Open Mic in the South Bay. We’re gathering in South Hayward Hills at intersection of Vista Grande and Tennyson road.
This will be hosted indoors short walk away from the map location.

Here’s how it works:
Show up by 5:00 PM. We’ll settle in, do quick intros, and kick off the open mic. Sign up on the spot if you’d like to share — you get 3-5 minutes to read original work, recite a classic, or share anything that moves you. Prefer to just listen? That’s equally welcome. Every mehfil needs its audience. After the event we will host an informal get together at a resturant.

What to bring:
Yourself. Maybe a poem. Maybe just your ears. we’re keeping this simple.

Who is this for?
Anyone who loves poetry — whether you write it, read it, or just feel it. If you grew up hearing kavita at home, if you scribble shayari in your Notes app, if you’ve been looking for your people — this is the space.
