This singles hike is going to be a bit of an early one! I have plans later on so that is the reason behind it.
There is a $5 fee to park in the parking lot or you can use free street parking and walk in.

Head out on this beautiful and paved trail that explores the shore of Lake Chabot Regional Park. There are many benches and spots to get closer to the water. Unfortunately there are often closures to swimming for both humans and pets as there is harmful algae in the water. This trail gets fantastic views of the lake throughout and makes for a lovely outing with the family or dog. There is also plenty more trail around the shoreline if you wish to explore this area further!
