Mountain Walking/Hiking Group

Hello Hikers
We're dusting off our walking shoes to finish the long weekend. We hope you can join us!

A moderate 12 km route in Sierra de Salinas
Distance – 12km.
Elevation – 600 m
**This has some uphill which can be challenging for anyone not used to hiking**
Estimated duration – About 4.5-5 hours (depending on breaks)

Bring – Water, snacks for our breaks.
Appropriate clothing and footwear is essential. Generally the mountain paths are quite good but they can be uneven and rocky with some tricky parts to this route, so good walking shoes are recommended.

Meeting Point - DUE TO PARKING AVAILABILITY WE ARE NOT MEETING AT THE ROUTE START POINT AS SEEN IN WIKILOC. Near the roundabout where there is some space to park. ROTONDA DE PERLITA Paraje la Virgen, 1, 03638 Salinas, Alicante

(Although it is just a moderate walk, it is still 16km and there will be over 400 meters elevation not an ideal route for anyone who isn't familiar with hiking or who is recovering from some sort of injury.)

Price and payment - The cost is 3 euros per person. Please pay within 5 days after sign up. Otherwise, we will move you to the waitlist until the payment is received.
How can you pay? You can pay for the walk via bizzum to 644759926 or via a bank transfer (message us for the account details). You need to indicate your name in the transaction details so that we will mark you as paid.
Why are we charging? We are charging a small fee to our popular walks. The reason for this is to avoid last minute cancellations, no-shows and long waitlists. The money raised will help us to cover the meetup organiser fees which are now quite substantail!
Refund If we need to cancel the event, you will receive a full refund or transferred to your next event.
