Experience Yecla - Walk and Wine Weekend 🍷🍇

If you love leisurely walking and wine tasting, then this weekend in Yecla is perfect for you!
Join us for what we hope will be a fun weekend. We'll start with a walk in the local countryside before visiting an award winning bodega and then spend the evening at Yecla's annual wine and tapas event.

• Wine and Tapas Route

We'll start by meeting for a nice easy walk in the countryside between Villena and Yecla. Nothing to strenuous but just enough to work up a thirst!
After the walk we have organised a bodega tour. This offers an opportunity to explore one of the best know vineyards in the area. We'll visit a family owned bodega which continues to pick up awards and fantastic reviews, most notably for its organic Monastrell.

• Guided Vineyard Tour in English: Learn about the fascinating history and winemaking traditions of the Yecla region as we tour the vineyard grounds and bodega facilities.
• Wine Tasting: Savor a selection of 4 wines, including award-winning reds and whites that reflect the unique character of this region’s soil and climate.
• Delicious Local Snacks: Enjoy a spread of appetizers, including cheeses, cured meats, and the vineyards own olive oil.

In the evening, explore the Wine and Tapas Route
An annual event which is organised to promote the flavours of the region. The guide prices (from 2024) are €2.5 for a wine glass and one “tapa”.
Sunday
After a leisurely breakfast, at 10:30 we set off to do a short 2-3hr walk around the caves at Monti Aribe. Or, if you prefer to unwind, you can take a walk around the town or nearby countryside and we can meetup afterwards. We'll find a nice place for a traditional lunch before heading home.
Cost & Payment
The price is €75 per person.
What is included in the price?
One night's accommodation with breakfast.
Wine tasting experience at a local bodega.
Tea, coffee and other refreshments at the accommodation.

Accommodation prices are based on two people sharing a double or twin room. If you are interested in single occupancy, contact us for the price.
A deposit of 40€ is required before the 14th of February. The final payment of 35€ is required before the 14th of March.
If payment is not received in time, you may be moved to the waitlist.
You can pay via Bizum to 644759926 or by bank transfer (message us for account details). Be sure to include your name so we can confirm your payment.
Cancellation Policy - A refund for the wine tour (20€) is available for cancellations made ten days before the event.
