Your Name

Details
A meet to see the highly acclaimed new anime film 'Your Name', about a country girl and city boy who mysteriously start dreaming about each other's lives. From award winning director Makoto Shinkai and Masashi Ando, animation director of Ghibli films like Spirited Away. The film is in Japanese with English subtitles.
I've chosen the Islington VUE (https://www.myvue.com/cinema/islington/whats-on) for a late showing, at 8.30pm. It's later than we normally meet, but very few cinemas are listing this film as of Tuesday night, and it's selling out at those venues so we have to be quick to get tickets- this is the only screen I could find with enough seats for all of us and which shows there are enough left (as of Tuesday night).
We'll meet in the upstairs foyer of the Islington VUE from 7.45. Enter the cinema and go up the escalator- we'll meet on the wooden flooring between the ticket machines and the pop corn kiosks. If you haven't been to the cinema before, it's 5 minutes walk from Angel station, in a mainly outdoor shopping mall.
PLEASE NOTE: This film is almost certain to sell out BEFORE Saturday night! On Friday night, there were around 30 seats left, and most were right at the front. 69 of us are on the RSVP list: not everyone will attend, but if you want to come, please book now at this link (https://www.myvue.com/book-tickets/summary/10032/212024/198537). I've booked in row D if you want to sit around the same area, but most seats around there are now sold.
It'll be quite late after the film, but we'll meet again in the same place and go for a drink; location to be decided at the time depending on how many people want to go, but probably the nearby Nag's Head or The Angel. I'll update the comments section through the night so please check if you can't find us. I'll be mailing my number to everyone on the RSVP list on Friday night- please take my number so you can call or text if you can't find us.
