Join us to see Tuner, a crime thriller starring Leo Woodall. Leo plays a piano tuner who is hyper-sensitive to sound. He can identify all the notes in a complex piano chord. He can also use his hyper-sensitivity to crack safes, because he can hear the mechanism turning.

If you saw Nuremberg last year, you’ll remember Leo’s excellent portrayal of the US Army German-English interpreter. Dustin Hoffman also has a small role in Tuner as Leo’s mentor. The film’s director and cowriter is Daniel Roher, who is most well known for the Oscar-winning documentary Navalny. Tuner is Roher’s first narrative feature film.

Tuner currently sits at 94% positive on Rotten Tomatoes, and the trailer looks very good!

We will see the 12:45 pm show at East Hanover. Tickets are on sale now. After the movie, we will meet just outside the auditorium, then we will head off to our discussion at The Godfather of East Hanover, which is a 4 minute drive from the theater. We have a reservation for 3:15 pm.
