You Can See Everything film +/or discussion
Details
"This movie is absolutely terrifying", Jonathan
"I've never seen a movie like this. It's riveting and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The time flew by too.", Susan
You Can See Everything is a 2026 American experimental meta-documentary film co-directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim.
Though this documentary has a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 9.3 on IMDB, I thought I'd start this description with quotes from our own members. "You Can See Everything" is a hit with really strong box office numbers -especially for a documentary. It's playing everywhere now and I am betting it will be next week as well. So, when showtimes come out for next week, I will post a late afternoon time for the group to see but fully expect that many people will see it on their own and just join for the discussion.
Susan said that when the movie ended, at the largely full theater, surprising for a Monday night, a guy stood up and said to the entire audience,
"Now we all have to go the diner!" A sentiment we can definitely understand and appreciate:)
THEATER/SHOWTIME: This movie is currently playing in East Hanover with numerous showtimes between now and 11/6. So there's plenty of time to see it before our discussion! I'll be seeing the 3pm show in E Hanover but you don't have to.
DISCUSSION: UPDATE: We will be eating and discussing at Spicy Chef where I made a 6:30pm reservation. 249 NJ 10E, East Hanover.
PLEASE INDICATE IN THE COMMENTS WHETHER YOU WILL BE DISCUSSION ONLY.
SYNOPSIS: Thirty-four days before she's sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move. What begins as an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon soon becomes a mind-bending, three-year journey into the abyss.
RUN TIME: 2 hr 54 minutes
OUR NO SHOW POLICY:
• If you RSVP and your plans then change, we ask that you notify us and change your RSVP as soon as possible - definitely before the start of the event. It's unfair for the group to wait around after the film for people who do not show up. And it fouls up reservations made at the restaurants we visit. NO SHOWS WILL NOW BE WARNED ONCE AND REMOVED FROM THE GROUP AFTER THE SECOND OCCURRENCE. We keep a list of no-shows - please change your RSVP prior to the start of the event so you don't end up on it! Thank you for your consideration.
WAIVER, RELEASE, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISKS

When you RSVP you are accepting these terms upon yourself and your guests (if any). I hereby waive, release, and discharge the Meetup Group and its officers, leaders, volunteers, employees, organizers, sponsors, members, and participants from any claims for personal injury, property damage, or death resulting from my participation in any of this group’s events. My RSVP and/or participation in this event is my signature on this waiver
