Highest to High & Low to Lowest

Legendary director Spike Lee ("Do The Right Thing", "The 25th Hour", "Da 5 Bloods") has never shied away from a challenge, and it's a big one with his latest, "Highest to Lowest". Starring Denzel Washington as a music mogul facing an arduous kidnapping dilemma, it's a remake of the 1963 film "High & Low" directed by another legendary director, Akira Kurosawa. You can see the earlier film from several streaming locations: Apple, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, the Criterion Channel, and Fandango at Home.
Then we'll MeetUP at the Davis theater to view Lee's take on the story.
