The Marching Band - Sac French Film Festival

Details
Join us at the Tower Theatre for the Sacramento French Film Festival's opening night showing of The Marching Band (En fanfare). This comedy/drama is about a world-famous conductor who discovers he's adopted and has a brother who plays trombone in his local labor union's marching band. It has 94% positive reviews on RottenTomatoes.
About the times: Look for Chip in the lobby at 6:45 for a 7:00 showing of the film, but the doors open for the Festival's kick-off party - with a DJ and no-host bar - which starts at 6:00pm. Also please note: we won't be having our usual discussion after the movie. Instead, Kevin Elstob - Professor of French at Sac State and UC Davis, and an expert on French film and culture - will be leading a Q&A afterwards. Stick around for his always-enlightening discussions.
The Sacramento French Film Festival will be showing 10 French films over the weekend, all with English subtitles - comedies, dramas, classics, scifi, thrillers, and more! For details, click here to visit their website: https://sacramentofrenchfilmfestival.org/program.htm
