Dinner + Superman 3D at Event Innaloo (Half price session)

Book your ticket for the 8:30pm session here. Meet us in Varsity (next door) for a chat any time from 7:30pm, and we'll head into the cinema at 8:30pm. Seating is allocated so there's no rush if you're running late, and we usually hang around for a chat after the film too. Note - the Event website will try to upsell you to Gold Class sessions in a different cinema but ignore that and just scroll down to where you select your seat.

It's a half price 3D session so regular seats are $15.00 (or $16.70 online) if you sign up for their free "Cinebuzz" membership. Or there are recliners down the front ($18.00 or $19.70 online). My seat is D12.

Written and directed by James Gunn who's made at least 3 good films in the past. Apparently he's promised it won't be too jokey and Superman won't be edgy.

Superman must reconcile his alien Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as reporter Clark Kent. As the embodiment of truth, justice and the human way he soon finds himself in a world that views these as old-fashioned.
