Grill'd + The Ballad of Wallis Island at Leederville

Please join me this Saturday for the eccentric British comedy The Ballad of Wallis Island, from the director of Cuban Fury. Tickets for the 6:50pm session are available here or at the box office. We'll meet down the road at Grill'd Leederville at 5:45pm for a chat and then head over to the cinema at 6:30pm.

The Ballad of Wallis Island follows Charles (Tim Key), an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island and dreams of getting his favorite musical duo, McGwyer Mortimer (Tom Basden & Carey Mulligan) back together. His fantasy turns into reality when the bandmates and former lovers accept his invitation to play a private show at his home on Wallis Island. Soon old tensions resurface as Charles tries desperately to salvage his dream gig.

• Located on the corner of Oxford St and Vincent St in Leederville.
• There is ticket parking off Leederville Pde (behind the IGA) or Frame Ct (behind the skate park). There's a multi-level undercover car park at 301 Vincent St and there is also ticket/free parking on various residential streets (Melrose, Richmond, Bourke, etc.).
• Cinema seating is not allocated per ticket.
• Luna has an optional paid membership which gives you about $4 off most tickets for a $25 annual membership fee. This also gives you a free double pass in your birthday month.
