At 8:00 a.m. the river level was 2.54 ft. Some rain upstream might cause the river level to rise 6 inches. This would be a welcome change. 2.5 is adequate, but 3 ft. would be better. Either way we will have a good time.

Ted Wendeln and Martha Moseman won't be able to make it today.

Bring rain gear. To be a true kayaker, you must paddle during a rain storm at least once. It can be fun when there is no lightning. Then it is exhilarating!
I'll be shuttling with the outfitter.

I am a half full kind of girl and there is a 30% chance it will not rain. Pray!!! I go to church at ten. when I get out at 11;00 home at 1115 I will decide. Sorry for last minute but sometimes prayer is powerful and the sun may shine.:) or at least no rain

    • Mary G.

Oh cool my dog will love it to!!

      July 24, 2014

  • George D.

I and my guest will be using the shuttle. This is the best approach.

    July 24, 2014

  • Mary A.

Should be fine for beginner as long as we don't get too mush rain between now and then. The river then maybe moving fast. The number above can give a report on water conditions. If people R able please indicate indicate if they will be taking shuttle which will be much easier. If not there will be a lot to coordinate at the last minute to juggle vehicles and kayaks start and finish etc since we are dealing with a crowded parking area at finish No contact info day off for there is not cell coverage at this site
