MPV San Francisco Pride 2026 Parade
Details
Assalaamu Aleikum wa Rahmatullah.
Join fellow LGBTQ Inclusive Muslims and allies in the 2026 Pride Parade "Resistance in Action".
We will be marching with the interfaith contingent "United in Spirit".
Note 1: We are still awaiting the exact start time and gathering place and will revise the details here in the next few days. We will also set up a WhatsApp group for our Muslim sub-contingent for any on-site communication or meetup details. If you are new to us, please send your phone number or WhatsApp contact to SanFrancisco@mpvusa.org. Backup contact is 415-722-1581, voice and text.
**Note 2: Register directly with United in Spirit at this link https://unitedinspiritsf.org/register/.** Indicate "United in Spirit" as your affiliation rather than MPV. Pride needs to get the total numbers. Just answer as an individual and ignore questions about the group. We do need group monitors, so consider checking that box. MPV has donated some money to UIS, but feel free to give more.
**Note 3: We are all requested to watch the training video and take the survey https://sfpride.org/parade-participant-training/**
Note 4: RSVP here on the Meetup as well, so we know who to look for.

Note 5: We will all try to get together afterwards for a meal or coffee. We will decide where and the time on Sunday. Make sure we get you in the WhatsApp group, as people can get split up at the end in the crowd,
Note 6: If you have mobility needs and need to apply for a seat on the cable car, we will send you a form.
The United In Spirit Pride Celebration booth will be at Civic Center Saturday and Sunday https://unitedinspiritsf.org/pride-booth/. Exact location will be confirmed here. We offer referrals to LGBTQ+ inclusive congregations across many religious traditions. Feel free to stop by for information, to volunteer, hand out stickers or giveaways, or just to say “Hi!” to our volunteers and our faithful booth coordinator, Rita Goldberger.
