Whether in an active job search, casually browsing, or just willing to be prepared for any unexpected career twist, we all need to have our resumes ready to go.

The world constantly evolves, and so do hiring requirements, systems, and procedures.

If you want to be up-to-date with the most current resume-writing best practices, come join us for this interactive workshop.

We will discuss:

✔ The key elements to put on the resume
✔ How to best order them, depending on your situation and experience
✔ How to deal with gaps in employment?
✔ How to describe your achievements concisely and powerfully?
✔ How many pages long is the resume supposed to be given your work experience and position?
✔ When is it helpful to mention other resources (portfolio, website, social media, hobbies, etc.) on the resume? When is it not?
✔ We will be open to any other questions relevant to the subject.

Let's help you write a resume that reflects the best of YOU!

The workshop is led by our own Barbara Usack who participated in, volunteered for and led classes, and managed PSGCNJ's ACT (Accelerated Career Training) for many years and is currently a Professional Branding Specialist with LHH.
